Now Available as of Sept 2024: The AI Candidates – AND – Available 2025/2026: Jacqueline
I just completed my most recent project – I worked with my friend and former boss, John “Stan” Kirk, in writing: “The AI Candidates.” Stan’s an exceptional individual, cerebral, voracious reader; he spent many years working on Capitol Hill and also worked for the National Science Foundation, and he is an all-around great guy. We hashed out plots. And as of August 30, 2024, the book was published! The E-version (Kindle, Nook, etc. should be available mid to late in Summer 2024.
The AI Candidates
By John S. Kirk and Christopher B. Emery
September 2024
Two months until the 2024 elections. The two presidential candidates are going on television to debate the issues. In front of a live audience of millions watching around the country, both candidates are murdered in cold blood. How was the act committed, and who was responsible? Artificial Intelligence becomes a significant factor by generating deepfake ads that candidates have difficulty refuting. Were the fake ads part of a greater conspiracy that included the killing of the two candidates? Was Russia or China behind it?

Jacqueline [Writing and Research is underway. Target to have the manuscript ready for a professional edit by late 2025]
This is a true story about a young woman named Jacqueline who is coming of age during one of the more turbulent times in the history of mankind. It is not only Jacqueline’s character, which is so remarkable, but also her experiences. This book will appeal to anyone who has an interest in history, politics, and international relations. From wartime Europe to Indochina to America, Jacqueline’s story serves as a backdrop for understanding key aspects of the 20th century. She was a woman, not only torn between lovers from an enemy country but also torn between patriotism, basic human desires, and l’ordre familial. She then leaves it all behind by taking the opportunity that life offered as she emigrates to America. Jacqueline was a woman with a heart and spirit big enough to embrace people in four countries on three continents.
